SAFE HAVEN Kid's League of California City
Our Goal? Safe Haven Kid's League of California City’s goal is to provide a safe place for kids go after school to interact with and make friends, receive helpful homework support, and get healthy meals.
We offer other summer activities such as field trips and reading programs. These after-school activities are created to raise their awareness, expand their learning capabilities, and to strengthen their social skills.
Our Programs!
After School Homework Assistance
We offer homework assistance for struggling students who need help. We provide a dedicated space for homework and create a structured homework routine with volunteer TA’s on site to monitor and provide the help that is needed.
After School Activities
Our after-school activities are built on enhancing, promoting, and instilling feelings of empowerment in the youths of California City. We focus on academics, specialized skill development, and community service projects that will broaden each child’s horizons in a way that is vital to their individual development.
Tween Time
Our Tween Time Program offers a wide range of activities for children aged 10 - 14 that help them to understand the emotional changes they can expect. We help them to learn organizational skills, teach them how to list assignments & supplies, how to schedule their homework, they learn which foods are healthy to promote healthy growth during this rapid growth period, and much more.
Summer Breeze
Safe Haven Kid's League of California City offers a fantastic Summer Lunch program once a month that gives the kids a chance to get together to enjoy a healthy lunch and have lots of fun!

We provide healthy meals with foods from each food group in appropriately sized portions so that they get the right nutrients to help them stay healthy.
Homework Helpers
Our assistance with homework comes from certified teachers who volunteer.
