Homework Helper
Type: Academic
Our Homework Helper program is designed for kids who are struggling in school. Cal City kids will be able to make homework time
productive. Volunteer tutors are on board to monitor homework and provide help that’s needed. We include the parents in the communication process alerting them of issues and providing them with progress reports.
Tween Time
Type: Mentor
Our Tween Time program addresses the unique challenges tweens face everyday. Our mentors offer one-on-one, distance, or group
mentoring, focusing on the needs of middle school adolescents while developing activities designed to transform their lives.
Summer Breeze
Type: Recreational
Our Summer Breeze program is full of fun, educational activities, and field trips. Cal City kids participate in character building exercises, games, arts & entertainment. The field trips will help to expand their cultural awareness by exposing them to different cultures and
allowing them to engage the arts.
